Removed Window
Nintendo Power Issue #98 from July 1997 has one image of Train and it's a very interesting image. It shows that Trevelyan's room once had a pane of glass with a white crosshair marking on it. It is not known why the window was removed or why it was not replaced with standard breakable glass. This must have been a very late change since the game released the next month.
Unused Presets
Presets 2715, 271F
Preset 2726
An unused door in the first train car. Why is this here? There's nothing on the other side of this door. Very strange.
Presets 273F, 2740
Two crates at the back of the second car. These would block the line of sight of the Janus Marine so it makes sense they were removed.
Preset 276F
Preset 2770
Presets 2771, 2776
More removed objects in the same room. The one on the table might have been an ink blotter or a paper tray. Those are really the only existing models on the ROM I can picture here.
Preset 2773
Preset 2775
Preset 2786
Presets 2792, 2793, 279E, 279F
Unused and somewhat awkwardly placed hatch locks. 279E and 279F are in the same place so that's why you only see three unused presets in the picture instead of four.
Preset 27AA
A door was removed from this doorway in the compartment prior to reaching Trevelyan. The door is halfway inside the wall. Was the doorway once shifted to the left?
Preset 27AE
The rolling shutter door that locks you into Trevelyan's car was once played closer to Ourumov and company. This would have been problematic because it would have been possible to shoot Ourumov, have the door close, then get stuck on the wrong side! You would have no way to get to the hatch, Natalya would have died in the explosion, and you would have been left to wander the empty train for eternity.
