Almost 29 years after release it has finally happened. We have decompiled GoldenEye 007. This is a
monumental achievement made possible through the efforts of many dozens of people from the earliest GoldenEye hackers to the latest contributors. I'd like
to give special thanks to project leader KholdFuzion, Trevor, Bethany, AxDoomer, and Ryan Dwyer.
You can get the decompilation for yourself here.

Great news from the GoldenEye 007 decompilation project — the game is now 90% decompiled. We are closer than ever to reverse engineering this masterpiece. You can follow
decompilation progress in real-time at this tracking page.

The Prerelease page now has a gallery of over 130 screenshots from an early build of GoldenEye 007. Many shots show substantial differences
from the final release. In the future the individual level pages in the prerelease section will be updated with analysis of these screenshots.

The Magazines page has been updated with tons of articles. The page is not exhaustive and more magazines will be added as they are discovered.

You will now find the Multiplayer section updated with maps for all the arenas including the unused Statue and Cradle setups. These maps include weapon, ammo, armor, and player spawns. They were made
by exporting the level geometry into Blender, creating GoldenEye equivalent materials, deleting the ceilings, and rendering them top-down with an orthographic camera. Eventually there will also be maps
for all single player levels.

Today marks the first big update for the Unused Content section. You will now find a huge gallery of all of GoldenEye 007's unused world models over there! In the future more additions will be added over there such as unused characters, gadgets, and textures.

Happy 2026! We're starting this year with a new page for 007's Gadgets. The first of three GoldenEye 007 strategy guides has also been
scanned and uploaded. You can find Prima's GoldenEye 007 strategy guide here.

New content has been added in the Game Mechanics, Prerelease, Bugs, Interesting Stuff, and Resources sections. I'm also preparing the level select menus for the Prerelease and Multiplayer sections of the site. For the most
part there is yet to be content within the individual level pages.

The multiplayer section now lists all the game's weapon sets. Eventually this section will have maps for every arena.
There is also a brand new page for early development documents including the game design document. If you scroll down on that page you'll find a
reproduction of the original design document that fills in the blacked out areas we weren't able to see before.

The first iteration of the Audio section has been uploaded. It includes all GoldenEye 007
music tracks and how they are used per level.
There are also a new scans of a Danish PAL box and a Japanese box in the Box & Manual section.

GoldenEye 007 promotional renders have been added to the Media section.
You can also now find all the game's English language text files here in the Miscellaneous section.

The GoldenEye Depot is live! Currently only the Characters, Weapons, and
Cheats sections have content. Much more is on the way! The goal is to make this site a GoldenEye 007 resource that is both deep and accurate. I'm doing some research on the
original GoldenEye 007 Design Document so that it can be presented in full. I also ordered a Japanese box and manual so that those can be scanned and the images uploaded here.
Does this site remind you of the old Detstar.com? That's no coincidence.
Detstar was one of my favorite childhood websites!
